You registered to receive meals from the restaurants in our program: I made you a consumer on the site. This means that you can now see consumer-only areas of the site.

Welcome to HelpBerkeley.org! We are here to help you get very affordable, delivered meals while you are in self-isolation, in quarantine or sick at home. First, look at our list of restaurant partners (only accessible if you have already been promoted to consumer). With any one of them, you can order two meals (dinner + next day’s lunch) for $10 per day (plus tax), and have our site volunteers deliver these meals, every day, for free. We apologize for the confusion! We are working very hard to make it simpler to order. Yesterday we changed our registration process, and we are in the process of making sure that all parts of the site properly refer to the new process as they should.

So I am thinking tomorrow I place an order with one of the restaurants and then the next day they will be delivered, so that would be Wed.

That is exactly right.

You don’t need to tell us anything: we’ll get your delivery info from the restaurants. Please make sure to give them the same phone number as you give us.
