@aberger We’re hoping you still want to drive for us! If so, you need to schedule your training. If not, that’s fine, of course! Could you let us know by replying to this message? Then we won’t contact you again.
Thanks a lot for volunteering to drive with us!
You need to attend a new driver training (~80 minutes long) before starting to drive with HelpBerkeley. We are delighted to offer a good number of new driver training sessions this upcoming week; I know everyone has a time that works best for them so there are quite a few options to choose from. Almost all of them will be led by our very own @MichelThouati.
- Saturday 2/6 at 11:00am
- Tuesday 2/9 at 11:00am
- Tuesday 2/9 at 4:00pm
- Tuesday 2/9 at 8:00pm (needs to be pre-scheduled with @MichelThouati)
- Thursday 2/11 at 11:00am
- Thursday 2/11 at 2:00pm
Please reply to this thread to confirm which training you can make! If there is not much demand, we might even get away with canceling some of the proposed times.
It is helpful to read this thread and its links before attending:https://go.helpberkeley.org/t/new-driver-welcome-please-read-this/66
Before attending the meeting:
- please download the app DiscourseHub on your phone. Grant all permissions requested, including photos. When prompted to add your first site, enter: go.helpberkeley.org . Then enter your credentials (email and pwd). This simple app will allow you to have access to all your delivery run information during your deliveries!
- please log into the HelpBerkeley.org website with a computer prior to entering the Zoom meeting
Information about zoom meetings (i.e. the links) will be posted in this thread a short time before the start time, so keep an eye on this thread. Any questions, don’t hesitate to tag either a driver coordinator (by putting @ sign and followed by , for instance, MiaJeffery (Mia), Leonardo (Leo), or NicoRiecher (Nico); @Miajeffery, @Leonardo, or @NicoReicher) or Michel @MichelThouati.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
