Lindakonk driver

Hi @Lindakonk , welcome to HelpBerkeley.org and thanks so much for volunteering!

You signed up to be a driver on the site: our dispatchers just promoted you to driver, so now you can access the driver-only subcategories (subcats) on the website.

Below is a link to a helpful post for new drivers to ramp up and learn more. If you have any questions, there are also FAQ’s in the driver subcats, or you can create a new post.

The next step is to tell us when your schedule fits to drive, and how often you can drive. I’ll tag you in the driver availability thread, and you can see how to do that there.

Driver training is going on, on Zoom, today Saturday (5/2) at 11:00am (in 30 minutes), Saturday (5/2) at 2:00pm, Tuesday (5/5) at 11am, or Tuesday (5/5) at 4:00pm: what would work best for you? You can sign up by responding to this thread: https://go.helpberkeley.org/t/new-driver-training/874/43

Thank you for again for volunteering your time with us, we’re glad to have you on board!

Hello,

I signed up to be a driver yesterday. However, this morning Berkeley Mutual Aid called me and they have paired me with a Berkeley resident who needs a considerable amount of assistance. This is going to take up all of my available volunteer time. So unfortunately, I won’t be able to drive as planned. Thank you for all of the work you’re doing for people in need!

Warmly,

Linda

No problem, Linda, thanks so much for helping Berkeley Mutual Aid! We will take you off the driver’s list. If your assignment goes away, volunteer again with us!
