Our dispatchers have made you a meal logistics volunteer, so now you can access the meal logistics category on the website. In general, we can volunteer for three types of opportunities as logistics volunteers: we can prep food with Chef Alan (on most Sunday afternoons, and some other dates), we can pack food with our super-friendly packing team (on most Mondays starting at 11:30am), and we can manage the pickup locations where our drivers pick up their deliveries.
For Thanksgiving (next week) we need logistics volunteers:
- On Sunday 11/21 from 10:00am to 3:00pm, food preppers and packers (prep, pack, clean) in a very congenial atmosphere!
- On Monday 11/22 from 10:00am till ?, food preppers and packers (prep, pack, clean). Chef Alan leads the cooking, while our experienced packing leads organize pack teams.
- On Wednesday 11/24 from 11:00am to 3:00pm, driver pickup managers (organize drivers and driver traffic, load vehicles)
Would you be able to volunteer, possibly, on Sunday 11/21 and on Wed 11/24? Or—what would work best for you?
