Dane driver

Hi @Dane , welcome to HelpBerkeley.org and thanks very much for volunteering!

Our dispatchers have made you a driver, so now you can access the driver-only subcategories (subcats) on the website.

The next driver training sessions, on Zoom, are listed on this thread: https://go.helpberkeley.org/t/new-driver-training-this-week/874. Can you reply to that thread with your preferred session, unless you talk directly to someone about your choice? There are training sessions today at 11:00am and 4:00pm, and possibly one at 8:00pm.

Below is a link to a helpful post for new drivers to ramp up and learn more: please read all of its links carefully! If you have any questions, there are also FAQ’s in the driver subcats, or you can create a new post.

The next step is to tell us when your schedule fits to drive, and how often you can drive. Can you fill this Google Sheet to indicate your availability: https://go.helpberkeley.org/t/how-you-can-structure-your-volunteer-hours-with-helpberkeley/73 ?

Thank you for again for volunteering your time with us, we’re glad to have you on board!

I can drive on weekdays after 430 pm and on weekends

@Dane, that is perfect since our runs start shortly after 5:00pm! How many times per week are you available?

@MichelThouati I would really appreciate the boxes, n95 mask, gloves, and any disinfectant for the steering wheel handle, etc. I am available Monday to pick them up if that suits.

Thank you for your hard work and excellent job with the training!
