Hi @Schweidel, welcome to HelpBerkeley.org and thanks very much for volunteering!

Our dispatchers have made you a driver, so now you can access the driver-only subcategories (subcats) on the website.

The next driver training sessions, on Zoom, are listed on this thread: https://go.helpberkeley.org/t/new-driver-training-this-week/874. Can you reply to the thread and let us know which session you will attend?

We have a giant delivery run upcoming on Dec 23rd, when we are going to deliver many hundreds of free meals. We will need to use many tens of drivers that day, and we’d like to get as many new drivers through orientation before that day. Are you able to do a run on this day, and if so can you attend a driver orientation session by this weekend?

Our next training session is Saturday 12/19 at 11:00am. If that doesn’t work for you, we can add sessions on Friday and/or Saturday afternoon/evening. Please let us know what works for you as soon as possible!

@Schweidel, it is totally OK: we will have plenty of need for drivers after the new year. Just disregard what you read that is driver-related here until then :slight_smile:

Hello!

My job – as a probate paralegal – got very crazy after Prop 19 passed. I am working all hours (and weekends), to get real property transfers done for our clients before the new law goes into effect on Feb. 15. So I’m afraid I can’t assist for now.
