Yesterday we celebrated our 365th day of uninterrupted deliveries! Every single day, over the past 365 days, we had drivers on the road: what a milestone!
This extraordinary achievement was only possible through the efforts and dedication of all of our volunteers. I was going to list everything it took to make this happen, but, instead, I think I’d rather look forward:
Many of our volunteers have been putting in enormous efforts to make our new Free Groceries & Meals Program take off: they all are truly amazing! It is thanks to these efforts that, after only 4 weeks of history in this program, we were able to ship, last Monday, over 800 meals and meal-equivalents to the members of the free meal programs, with more to come every future Monday!
Two more, quick stories:
the first person to whom we delivered groceries, 4 weeks ago, burst into tears because she had not eaten all day…
a brand new driver heard last week on his first delivery an 88-year-old member tell him: “you are the reason I am alive.”
Together we are making a true difference, as neighbors, and as a community. Thanks SO MUCH to all the selfless volunteers of our organization, and to all of the members who honor us with their trust!

I also want to tell you that when I made one of my deliveries, I called to make sure that they received the meal I left at the designated place in the foyer. They were so grateful and went on and on about how amazing this was for them.
@MichelThouati Hi Michel, Lee and I are very new drivers, cannot seem to find the Driver Availability calendar to designate the Mondays when we are available to drive. Can you guide us to the calendar, thank you.
And CONGRATULATIONS for a phenomenal achievement. We are honored to offer our humble contribution. Thanks, Mary and Lee
