Packing was done at the catering facility, outdoors under tents, under the supervision of the chef, by our volunteers.
Each volunteer, everyday, went over a COVID exposure questionnaire and had their temperature taken. Of course, they wore PPEs at all times. They wore gloves as they were handling packaging, and were provided with sanitizer.
They were grouped, at each workstation, by groups of people sheltering in place together (no mixing of volunteers). Workstations were widely spaced (again, outdoors, under tents). We stopped work several times to correct spacing issues and make sure that we were not leaving volunteers too close to each other.
